All family workshops include admission to the Lawrence Hall of Science. Each workshop participant will receive a take-home list of related books to read and activities to do at home.

New! Marvelous Marble Machines

Build a marble machine to create a winding path for a traveling marble by using simple materials. Let your marble run through tubes and funnels, across tracks and bumpers, and into a catch at the end. Will a higher track make the marble go faster? You will even learn how to make your own marble machine to make at home.

BuzzingWithBees

Come join a beekeeper to learn all about bees. Look at an observation hive to see what bees do inside their hive. Find out how beekeepers collect honey, and handle beekeepers’ equipment. Taste some honey as you buzz in for this special class on bees.
